Guidance Regarding CE Exemption for ARNPs Certified by a Health Care Specialty Program

This is information for nurses who are eligible for CE exemption and wish to process it in CE Broker during the biennial renewal.

ARNPs who are eligible for the CE exemption need to report the exemption in their account on www.cebroker.com (the basic account is available without charge). Once the information is entered there it will be reflected in the Florida Board of Nursing database when s/he goes thru the renewal process.

Here is part of the exemption language:
A nurse who is certified by a health care specialty program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification is exempt from continuing education requirements..............
