Consider supporting an FSU DNP Student by helping with project recruitment

Please see letter below and attached project information sheet for information on assisting Valerie with recruitment. FNP Students are who she is seeking as participants.

Hello,

My name is Valerie Keyes, BSN, RN, and I am a student at Florida State University (FSU) in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. For my DNP project, I am examining the effects of a vaccine hesitancy learning module on FNP student’s confidence level in discussing vaccine concerns with patients/families. Vaccine hesitancy has been a growing issue for several years, with the current coronavirus pandemic brining this issue to the forefront. The project consists of completing online surveys and an online learning module expected to require about 25-30 minutes of time.

If you could share the information about my DNP project with your Family Nurse Practitioner students, it would greatly assist me in recruiting participants for my project. I’ve attached a word document titled “Project Information Sheet for Participants” that can be shared with your students that contains a link to the survey and learning module.

Thank you for taking time to assist me in my educational endeavors. The data collected will provide useful information regarding Family Nurse Practitioner’s confidence in discussing vaccine hesitancy, further advancing the nursing profession.
