Volunteers Needed for COVID Vaccinations

Posted over 4 years ago

From the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN). Please considering helping if you are able.

Dear Colleagues:

The FL DOH is in need of RN & NP volunteers to help vaccinate the public according to the first phase of the Executive Order, which includes the following members of the public:

•Long-term care facility residents and staff;
•Persons 65 of age and older; and
•Health care personnel with direct patient contact.

Are you available to assist with these COVID-19 vaccination efforts in your community? The state DOH is actively setting up vaccination locations and many sites will need staffing. We have a form sent to us from FANA (CRNA organization) who has initiate this volunteer corps. The form provides information and ability for you to sign up which is attached here. Simply reply to this email with yes or no if you can help any time during the next few months. This is a huge task and NPs can help during this time of need.
