FNPN Looking for Nurse Heros

I hope that everyone is doing well during these unprecedented times of the COVID - 19. We had no sooner finished ups with the 2020 legislative session and our march toward independent practice (IP), the we were were than facing COVID - 19. I am sure that each of you have been so busy caring for your families and patients during this time! I hope that in this process of taking care of everyone, that you are taking the time to care for yourself!
I want to ask for your help in identify and honor some of our Region 1 COVID - 19 NURSE Heroes (by MAY 1) as follows:
A request from the FNPN Board of Directors to our members, supporters, organizations and patients: We all have stories of courage and heroism that have emerged from COVID-19 crisis in Florida and across the nation. This pandemic has impacted us all in some way-some more than others. We hope to highlight the efforts of NPs in our next Newsletter for Nurse Week, May 6-10 during National Nurses Week. We are sharing news about the people and organizations that have made an impact during the COVID-19 crisis.Our upcoming newsletter will provide photos and stories that feature the everyday nurse superstars within healthcare as well as their inspirational stories. Please know how much FNPN appreciates all nurses. Will all who care, please contribute to this important conversation and share your message of support so we may showcase your contributions with FNPN’s audience of over 12,000 Nurse Practitioners. You are all amazing. HIPPA compliant of course!
