2019 CRMC Nurse of Excellence

Congratulations to the CAPN 2019 Nurse of Excellence - Deanna Epley, PhD, APRN!!!

Deanna is a long-time member of CAPN and has been active in many aspects of the organization. Currently she coordinates the process for nominating Board members. Her keen intuition regarding the members of the organization identifies excellent candidates for the Board each year. Deanna also stays current with headlines in the news relevant to nurse practitioners and ensures CAPN members are aware of these stories. She advocates for nurse practitioners everywhere and has been pivotal in nurse practitioner week each year. Deanna has practiced in multiple settings in Tallahassee, most recently at TMH Behavioral Health, and has taught in the FSU College of Nursing and the FAMU School of Nursing. Additionally, Deanna is a veteran of the Army Nurse Corps. She was a Major and served in the Vietnam War and Cold War.
