Our Tallahassee Area Council of Advanced Practice Nurses Student Representatives for 2016-2017, Simona Devenish (FSU) and Eula Weaver (FAMU) led a very successful fundraising drive for Brehon House.

On Friday 12/9/16, collected items (baby supplies - diapers, wipes, etc), bathing supplies (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc), and non-perishable goods, and gift cards were delivered to the Brehon House. Brehon was delighted.

Please (also)see our Photo Gallery for photos of members who, representing CAPN, made the delivery: Simona Devenish/Chairwoman of the Service Project, Karen Myers, and Kathleen Wilson. Chairwoman Simone did an OUTSTANDING Job –She rallied the membership to make donations and represented CAPN so well throughout!

There were 2 supporting events in this project. The first was a fundraising night at Panera Bread Bakery-Cafe, 3523 Thomasville Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32309. A portion of the participants’ proceeds were donated to Brehon. The event took place on October 18, 2016. The second fundraising project was donations of supplies for Brehon House. The drive ran from October 1, 2016 - December 1, 2016. Thank you so much, Simona and Eula, and Tallahassee Area Council of Advanced Practice Nurse members!
